Hello Mr Wilson,
Sometime ago I was informed that it was illegal in Jamaica to offer goods/services and the charges are quoted in currency other that J$. Has there been a change in the law as it is now quite popular to observe on a frequent basis whereby goods/services are being quoted in a currency that is not J$?
Kindly let me have your early response.
Thanking You.
thank you
I am not the person to whom the question was addressed but I know from the BANK OF JAMAICA LAW, 1960 and from the CURRENCY CONVERTIBILITY in 1968 THE JAMAICAN CURRENCY IS THE ONLY LEGAL TENDER IN JAMAICA
Is Lasco IPO out yet, does anyone know and what the price?
