Bag ‘essentials’ for winter 2008

Welcome fashionistas or should i say bagistas because today we are talking bags. I’m going to break it down into the top 3 trends for this season.

Chic sophistication

Structured bags are a must. So that means, lean long totes and  satchels. Think about the garments your wearing ladies. During the day they are tailored & structured. At night they are close fitting & elegant. The bags need to work with these day & night time looks. Giving you an extremely chic, sophisticated style.

Go bold with magenta

Magenta is a must for the winter season. I know what your thinking isn’t that a bright pink. Yes fashionista’s it’s bold and its most definitely a shade of pink, but it works. During the day you can carry your magenta satchel, while at night a small clutch bag in magenta combined with an amazing evening gown will make you the belle of the ball.

Skins and more skins

Exotic skins are great for this season and there’s so much variety… we are totally spoilt for choice. For those of us that love the ‘Real Mccoy’, there’s python and crocodile bags in all shapes and sizes out there. Naturally they are ‘trop cher’, approximately US$2,500 up.

So if like me you love the look then work it with your faux croc bags. They also are available in a variety of sizes and colours, but with a very different price tag. Approximately US$20 up, a huge difference right ladies!
