Style Week Jamaica 2K9 Gets Underway

Hi there fashionista’s,

Wow! Last night was the launch of Saint Internationals annual fashion fiesta, Style Week Jamaica 2K9 and what a launch it was, with Cecille, D’Angel, and Dexter Pottinger to name just a few in attendance…

Touted as the World’s Iriest Fashion week in the Trendiest Island City – Kingston the event will run all weekend long – culminating in the ever popular Fashion Block on Sunday in New Kingston.

The VIP/Media launch started fashionably late  at the trendiest hotel in Kingston right now, the Spanish Court Hotel. After meeting some of the designers we hit the bar and dancefloor at PURE: Plush in New Kingston.

PURE is one of the hippest new lounge/nightclubs in Jamaica. As always we have lots of pictures for you in the www.go-jamaica.com photo gallery.

Did I mention that designers, models and celebrities were out in force!  Pictured above is Dexter Pottinger and friend looking gorgeous and incredibly  stylish from head to toe.  Yes once again he shows us why he is one of the Jamaican designers enjoying global success.

Pictured above is LA based designer Katie with her assistant.  They will most definitely rock the catwalk this weekend.

While the originator and driving force behind Saint International Dewight Peters was of course present looking slightly tired (understandably) but as always looking casually fashion forward, smiling and energised.

Pictured above D’Angel took time out to wow the cameras.
