Spanish Style – Hit or Miss?

Good Day Fashionista’s

This week the beautiful Island in the Sun, Jamaica welcomed King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain on their inaugural visit.

Today I am going to consider the style of Queen Sofia. What words would I choose to describe her CLASSIC, STYLISH, COMFORTABLE but always CHIC.

Just take a look at the outfit she chose to wear to Jamaica.

The fabrication is wonderful. The fabric is extremely ornate but it is subdued by the subtlety of the colour choice . The colour adds a whole new dimension to the three-piece ensemble.

We can see by the brooch, necklace, bracelets and earrings Queen Sofia likes to embellish her outfits in a very complimentary manner. The co-ordinated handbag and shoes work as they do not give that over matched feel.

Queen Sofia’s style is one that we have come to expect from European monarchs. She exudes ELEGANCE AND SOPHISTICATION and dare I say it CLASS.

Queen Sofia truly is a CLASS ACT and she gets definite thumbs up from me.

In my opinion she is a HUGE HIT.  If you want to see more of her style sense log on to www.go-jamaica.com and visit the photo gallery.

What do you think?

Keep watching this blog as I will be doing a round-up of Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week 2009.

Trust me you don’t want to miss it!
