Ive been trying to stay away from the whole Michael Jackson saga, but I can contain myself no longer. I have a few points to throw out there.
(1) Have you noticed how much Janet Jackson looks like the white Michael? And if he did (not saying he didn’t) do plastic surgery on his nose, then the whole family must have used the same plastic surgeon including his older sister Rebbie, because they all look the same.
(2) We have a saying in Jamaica, ‘don’t speak ill of the dead’. So why is it that all the media (American) can focus on was ‘The tragic life of Michael Jackson’? Come on! You are the same ones who drove him crazy anyway. What about all the charity work he did? Because his last album Invincible didn’t sell 100 million like Tthriller, means it was a failure? There will never be another album like Thriller. Invincible sold around 10 million worldwide. Does that sound like a failure?
(3) Many debates have revolved around how he changed his skin colour and that he didn’t have a skin disease, as he claimed. Now man can change from male to female and vice versa and they are accepted by main stream American media. Case in point, Cher and Sonny Bono’s daughter Chastity. They speak of ‘his’ transition. But because Michael changed his colour, he’s a freak? And why is it that people can change their sex, but Michael is the only one who has discovered the ‘magical portion’ that can make him white?
(4) All those people who are coming out now saying they were close friends of his are hypocrites! If you guys were such friends, why didn’t you help him? Even a blind man could see he needed help. It was there in plain sight. You looked at it and heard it in his songs and you did nothing and now you are trying to capitalize on his fame by saying you knew he abused prescription medication etc. I pray to God I don’t have friends like that!
Mike’s music was great, but he had issues. Then again if you had to endure what he did then maybe you would too.

Has anyone ever seen an albinistic African?
He is pale, lacking pigmentation; but is STILL African!
Michael Jackson was exceptionally good at what he did as an entertainer with a world class size compassion and charity for those in need.
As is the case with almost all human beings, Michael Jackson had a physical ailment.
His was an severe case of vitiligo, which robs patches of the skin of pigmentation.
The result over time was that Michael Jackson’s skin neared that of albinistic Africans; so completing the removal of all pigmentation was thought preferable.
In countries where the ignorance of racism is rampant, the best efforts to deal with a known disease takes can take on a whole ‘nother life of its own among the ignorant and devilish.
The ‘nose job’ was unfortunate; but that is part of the emotional burden for SOME living in racist and superficial societies — a ‘straight nose’ has to go with pale (vitiligo) skin, say, especially if you can afford the ‘corrective’ surgery.
Michael Jackson was awesome!
Intelligent people don’t expect ordinary humans (successful or unsuccessful) to be perfect in every respect.
They are quite satisfied if the individual’s goodness vastly outweighs the bad; because aspects of such a life IS going to be inspiring, and are worth emulating!
This was true of Michael Jackson. The world could use a lot more of his kind.
Thanks so much for reminding us that “there’s so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it behoves none of us to speak ill of the rest of us!”
Wrong! Michael did not bleach. The skin disease runs in his father’s family. Poor Michael. He was a man in deep crisis with no one to help him so he did what he could to help himself. The good news is that no one can hurt him now. Michael died from over-love of the world. RIP
Michael Jackson has been confirmed to have had vitiligo. His dermatologist, who is world reknowned and quite respected confirmed that he diagnosed Michael Jackson with the disease. He said Michael Jackson’s skin basically looked like a leopard. As a result, they lightened his skin gradually over time in order to even out his pigmentation. In his own words, he said that it was done to avoid Michael looking even more “peculiar”. He said the singer first saw him for skin problems that was also diagnosed as Lupus after a biopsy. Therefore, the bleaching skin thing is old news. He clearly had a disorder. Research vitiligo on the internet and you will understand. Also, read the transcript from Dr. Klein’s interview on Larry King, CNN. RIP MJ.
Elvena u need to check ur facts, he did have a skin disorder however, he did undergo a few procedures to have a full body that’s white. The nose job and all.
With all of that said, I don’t think what he did to his body should be anybody’s business, he had the money so he fixed what he did not like with himself. They are so many other persons in Hollywood who are getting plastic surgery and no one seems to make a big deal out of it.
I believe that MJ was a child in a 50 year old body, seeing interviews with him, its so obvious that he just wanted to create a world that he did not have as a child. I believe that he was terribly traumatised as a child verbal abuse and all.
All in all he was a human being, I wish people would let the dead rest in peace (I hope he can).
Michael Jackson is the best entertainer the world will ever see for a long time. The American media focused on the scandals in his death because it is exciting news and revealing he donated to charities is a boring topic. Spilling dirt on someone is newsworthy and has all the elements we look for in BREAKING NEWS. I have researched Michael Jackson since his death and watched many interviews he did, the many concerts. Clearly, this man had his own issues battling with but his heart to give back and produce some of the world’s best music we should forever cherish.
My favourite song is Man in the Mirror. From the lyrics to the composition is stellar, having a great impact.
Wow. The girls at the end almost made me overlook the article. About those who are now calling themselves his friends were back then more concerned about getting something from Michael than helping him. As for his issues, most great musicians have them, and I think they use music as an outlet.
MJ is the King a true legend and his music and his legacy shall live on forever thats all I see when I think about this great man… I agree with you though, I didn’t realize MJ had so many best friends lol… crazy – let the KING rest in peace or at least rock-on in the afterlife.
Micheal put black artists on the map and on TV, all black artist/entertainers are always under scrutiny-dammed if you do dammed if you don’t.
His songs were very moving especially we are the world he owed us nothing other than the music. Now the story about the kid who cried molestation, his mother needs to be put to death for ruining some one’s career all because he was an easy mark for money shame on you lady. I think the family should sue her for all she has including her social security.
Micheal you will be missed but your voice lives on in your music.
finally!!! people who have reasoning ability!
Very Totally Rad information. I think I’m gonna stick around and read about 9 more of your posts. With gratitude
