My Little Friend

sextoysi20060614ngTwo weeks ago I went shopping for a vibrator. OK you can now retrieve your tongue from the floor. I’ve always been curious about the things but I’ve just never built up the courage to purchase one.
I do beleive that they serve a purpose. Sex toys are not about replacing men, they’re about enhancing the experience in the bedroom. It may work wonders for some women who have difficulty having an orgasm during intercourse. I’ve also read that they can help a woman to learn her trigger spots when she’s alone so she can better educate her partner during intercourse.

I told my friends of my shopping expedition and was surprised to find out how many of them have thought about getting one. One had actually bought  one a few years ago because her boyfriend was away and she didn’t want to be tempted.

But why are sex toys still seen as  taboo? . Once I went shopping for a wedding present and went to one of the few places in Kingston that actually sell them. There were so many different varieties it was enough to make one’s head spin. But mostly they looked like torture devices, not tools of pleasure. I wanted something small, cute and discreetly packaged.

My friend, with her wealth of knowledge, told me that some come packaged to look like lipsticks. I finally found a store in Little Premier Plaza and found the perfect little friend called a black marble or something to that extent. The black marble looking case could have passed for a glasses case.

Unfortunately I left the store without it but pledged that I would be back once I worked up the courage to actually get a little friend of my own.
