Great Vacations!

Often holidays are used as an opportunity to visit family and friends.
A drive to the country can be both exhilarating and relaxing especially recently since the air has only recently been smoke free in Kingston.

There is a problem though, that a number of consumers face during any holiday period.

There is a common problem of being estranged from family members which means that staying with them is not an option.

Those persons who work very hard throughout the year, eagerly look forward to the holidays. For those persons staying at home is not always ideal as they want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

So what other options are there for vacations?

Well there are a number of bed and breakfast facilities available island wide. These places offer kitchenettes as well as living and dining areas. Some are on the beach or near one and guests have access to a pool.

There are also bigger hotels that offer all-inclusive services.  This means that guests do not need to leave the hotel as food and entertainment are part of the package.

They usually include a variety of activities such as spa services which are geared towards making their guests feel as relaxed as possible.

Cost
Bed and Breakfast hotels can be more affordable ranging from $5000.00 – $7000.00 per night for the room.
The only drawback is that unless you want to carry your own food from home, you have to factor in the cost of purchasing food.

So how can you afford this on a budget?

Well, check out any promotions as currently Grand Lido in Negril is offering a special discount for Jamaican residents during the month of May.
It also makes sense to plan a vacation with friends so that you can share any costs. It is also important to start saving early!

So how do you afford your vacation?
Let me hear from you!
