Football has always been a sport that I enjoyed watching. I must admit though that I am not as hard core as the fans of Jamaican school boy football. The Manning and Dacosta cup are now in full swing with fans coming in droves to watch their favourite teams.
I think that this is something we could use to promote Jamaica. I know that a lot of people support these games but surely more could be done to generate international interest.
We could invite schoolboys from other countries to join the competition and make it an international affair. Those tickets would certainly sell!
We need to showcase our talent more to the world! What do you think? Keep those comments coming!

I love this post – totally kewl!!! Well done! I’m coming back to this one …
School boys football must remain as is not everything should be taken to an international level.Doing so I think the competition would lose so of its zest.Things cannot be about the bottom line.(profit)
Well it was just a thought! Maybe we could invite the winners of the Manning and Dacosta cup to play against other teams from other places.
Excellent idea, the revenue generated could provide scholarships, exposure and much needed jobs for our youth and the nation on a whole.
Furthermore, it is time for Jamaica to think globally when it comes to the development of our youth atheletically.
Couldn?t be written any better. Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept talking about this. I will forward this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thanks for sharing!
