Do you have a calendar nearby?

Well mark down this date, November 13-21, 2015!

That is the date slated for Restaurant Week 2015. Over 75 participating restaurants will open their doors so consumers can enjoy their gastronomical delights at a reduced cost!

Restaurant Week Offerings!

As usual there will be specials offered at lunch and dinner at participating restaurants. This year though there is a special addition to the programme.  For the very first time, breakfast will be included in the special package.

This is certainly good news for the early birds who want a good start for the day. This new category is called ‘Morning Bites’ and the participating restaurants include: Susie’s Bakery and Coffee Bar, Micheal’s Rest and Coffee Shop, Tea Tree Creperie and Fromage Gourmet Market and Bistro.

Breakfast Items range from the traditional breakfast items such as omelettes and wraps to quesadillas and crepes. The prices are within reason as consumers can choose which type of breakfast they are able to afford.

My favourite breakfast is in a category that costs $900 but there are lesser items of $800 and higher range items which cost $1200.

The lunch category referred to as “Nyam and Scram” contains 30% discounted lunch combos. Consumers get to grab delicious meals for a lower price than they are normally sold.

The dinner offerings price range is able to accommodate every type of budget. The “Tasty” dinner menus are $1,850, “Savoury” are $2,800 “Delectable” meals are $3,800 and the “Epicurean” experiences are available for $4,300 and above.

Preparations

The tagline for Restaurant Week is ‘Dig in’!

However, there is something you must remember before you do so and that is to make your financial  plans to enjoy the week!

One way to ensure that you can attend all your favourite restaurants, is to start saving early. The deals for each category is substantial when you consider that the dinner meals come with appetizer and desert which would normally be an extra cost.

It pays to plan properly as prices quoted are per person, and do not include beverages, GCT (tax) or gratuity.

These costs can add up although the overall experience is definitely worth it!

The best way to capitalize on this exciting food affair is to ensure you go to at least some of the participating restaurants!

Drop me a line and let me know which restaurants you will be eating at during restaurant week!
