Do you have a child who is preparing to enter high school? Then prepare to spend money on uniform, school fees, shoes and most of all books.
The cost of most textbooks for high school students is climbing above the reach of a lot of parents. So what can be done about the high cost of textbooks?
Well I have a suggestion. Why not try to source used books?
Many parents would be more than happy to sell their children’s unwanted books. There are also some bookstores that have sections of used textbooks for sale.
Another thing to bear in mind is that not all the textbooks on the list will be used at once. It is better to wait and consult with the teacher to determine which books will be used first.
This economy forces parents to instill in their children the importance of taking care of their books by wrapping them to protect them for the next generation of siblings or friends that may need them.
So how do you find book bargains? Let me hear from you!
