CFW 2009 – The ‘Vessel’ simple, detailed & absolutely beautiful

Hi there fashionista’s, here’s another treasure from CFW 2009.

The name Lois Samuel’s is immediately recognised for a number of  reasons. We were first introduced to her as a model, author then photographer… and now this ever evolving Jamaican has returned to the world of fashion as a Fashion Designer. Thank goodness I was present to see this amazing lady go full circle by treating us to a explosion of masculine inspired pieces with a feminine edge.

The ‘Vessel’ collection is wearable, simplistic, but also beautifully constructed. Not only is this lady inspirational for her creative energies, but she’s also inspirational for her big heart. Part of the proceeds from sales of the ‘Vessel’ will help a Boys Home in St Elizabeth, Jamaica.

Sorry fashionista’s I’m unable to select one piece as my must have…. I’m feeling too many of them… But, here’s my Top 3.

The square neckline dress, accentuates a woman’s curves perfectly. The shirt dress moves seamlessly from day work wear to night sexy wear. You know Shaz would have a few more buttons undone The pinafore front all-in-one, definitely an illustration of menswear with a truly delightful feminine touch.

Can you imagine these pieces in some of the other shades available in the colour palette, tempting! The detail, clean lines and cuts are fabulous!
