New York Fashion Week…Stylish? Elegant? Trashy? Too Much?

Hi there ladies and gentleman!  This week we are taking a look at how the celebs dressed for New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 and some trends of the moment.  But before I begin I want to thank you for  your comments regarding  Armani’s “Valentines Day” advertising campaign.  It really put the cat amongst the pidgeons.

Now you all know I love to shop for myself and my clients… So can you imagine the look on my face when the ‘A’ listers started to fill out the front rows of the shows in questionable fashion attire…

What do you think .. are they Stylish? Elegant? Trashy? Fashion forward? Overdressed? Or just trying  too hard? Should they keep or fire their stylists?

Check out some of the looks below…   I’ll stay “mum” so as not to colour your views :) .

All pictures above are from www.whowhatwear.com

I think some of the celebs trends were all about the jackets!  Do you like the  pazazz & glitz or do you think there was too much bling?

i only saw what was on news and got to stand out side.. what i saw sucked.. and was kind of boring, trying to hard to be cool and sucked..

  3. seen better days at fashion week.. last year mabye .. chinese new years probably had more to look at. along with gays, being alowed to parade now in chinatown between stints of finding someone to debase …

In one word, horrible. The looks were the worst replications of the 1980′s; big shoulder pads, high waisted pants that are baggy around the hips and tapered at the ankles. They are reminiscent of MC Hammer,”back in the day.” Everything is overdone and tacky, not the best I’ve seen.

The pictures make a great difference to the blog. Not so sure I get the “fashon”.

If the pics here are an accurate representation it doesn’t bode well for the fashion industry.

    Where are the guys?

  7. Niffy says:

Clearly sombody lied to some of these people before they left their homes. Whoever told them you looked good did not have their best interest at heart. From the little that I have seen many were grossly overdone. (Emphasis on grossly.)

These are sad, dull and freaky fashions that make these talented women look so fragile. Please ladies, if you are not sad, dull or freaky, why wear this stuff?

    ugly, ugly, ugly…..they look wretched
