A Religious Issue?
We were quite shocked earlier this week when we heard that Miss California USA Carrie Prejean was ‘fired’. I thought the whole issue was over and done with.

The 22-year-old Miss California created controversy at the Miss USA pageant in April. One of the judges, Perez Hilton, asked her what was her stance on gay marriage. She noted that being a Christian, she believed marriage should be between a man and a woman. Many said that cost her the Miss USA title. Should she have been penalised for her opinion, which, interestingly, is shared by that country’s president Barack Obama?.
After the competition, racy photos of her began circulating on the Internet, which were supposedly in violation of the Miss USA organisation’s rules. After much speculation, Donald Trump made an announcement that she would be allowed to keep her crown. Now, they say she was fired for failing to make official appearances, a.k.a not doing her job.
As I was trying to swallow the news, a co-worker remarked, ‘Being a Christian doesn’t pay. In an interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer, Prejean said she lost her crown because of the comment she made. It is unfortunate, as homosexuality is an issue that should be handled delicately to show tolerance of persons and their lifestyles whether we agree or not. It is unfortunate that she was put in such a spot, but her personal opinion is her own and she opted to tell the truth and not be politically correct.

She was asked a political question and she gave a political answer. She is not the first to have that point of view; Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, the list goes on. The root of this issue began with that answer. I do not believe someone should be ridiculed, and faced with pressures she has been through because you simply do not agree with gay marriage. It is unfortunate that we live in a world where two views can’t contend.
I am telling you, even though the Pope is the real anti-christ, the Catholic church stood and said clearly, they do not embrace or support Gay Marriage. It’s warped and looking for attention in all the wrong places. Gays can do better by inventing their own way of legal representation in the marriage arena.
The straight people have already claimed marriage, as their santuary of a man and a woman. Now, since Gays are considered interlectually advanced, they should come up with their own togetherness agenda to defend their partner rights to be with each other legally. Marriage in all religions are concretely known, understood, and solid as rock, are between a man and a woman.
The world knows now that marriage will be watered down since Gays can get married. It will not be seen as a serious sanctity of life for raising children. Marriage is not for just getting married, it’s god plan to secure the children’s future. Gays life style does not promote or encouraged the natural birth of the next generation.
The Gays took a hard blow on this one, why? there were millions of children watching, incl. families, so we knew as a nation that many Gays felt the pain of seeing their grand plan literally went up in smoke. Yet these same Gays mental cases asked for tolerance. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Gays must find their own legal niche to be considered by the State and Federal government as a legal union. Gays are aware that now there will be a backlash with this intolerable behavior from a beauty contestant who gave an honest answer. Most of the pictures were super imposed anyway to make her look bad. Remember Gays are diagnosed with axis ll symptoms in the DSM book on mental illness, and on top of that these diagnosis cannot be changed. The Gays formed an alliance and had their reversed and stricken from the DSM book. Homosexuality is a personality disorder, and have the distinction of being insatiable for attention. Gays are considered really sick individuals, that are twisted in nature, they constantly plays the victim role at all times. Don’t be afraid, instead push back against the immoral acts homosexuality. How can Gays condone the publishing of lewd pictures while their very homosexual life is unacceptable worldwide.
