Sizzling Summer Deals

If anyone is in doubt that summer is here the intense heat we are currently experiencing is certainly an indication. The ‘heat’ is on in various ways as expenses turn the heat on consumers’ pockets.

Although consumers are faced with a number of expenses this time of year this does not mean it’s all bad news.

A number of companies have realized that consumers are facing a financial strain and have responded by providing summer discounts. After a thorough investigation I found some really good deals for everything from clothes, paint, household appliances and tiles.

In my opinion, the best sale for clothes and other personal items, is the one offered Ammars. It is titled as a ‘crazy’ summer sale with up to 50% discount on everything in the store in all four locations.

Another company, Exotic Stone also are offering a discount of 75% on selected items in the store. Their sale is relatively short as it will only run from June 29th to 30th. The store boasts a wide range of bathroom and kitchen fixtures which are included in the sale.

If you are only interested in grocery discounts, remember that there are advertised specials by the Progressive Grocers group. This group consists of a number of supermarkets, including Brooklyn Supermarket and Shoppers Fair.

These specials are advertised in The Gleaner dated June 27, 2013. Some of these specials include Lasco brand macaroni and cheese for $79.20 and Brunswick tuna for $98.45.

A number of companies are also offering their services at a reduced price in order to attract new customers. I found that several beauty salons are offering attractive packages for their customers.

One such salon, Thea’s House of Beauty shop 20 in Savannah Plaza, offers a special package for graduates.

Are the sales worth it?

Before making any purchase it is important for you to consider your budget.

You might not have planned to go shopping but if the price is right then it can be a good deal.

It is important to be balanced so don’t buy anything that you don’t need or would not buy if it was not on sale.

After considering all these factors you can make the decision on whether or not you will participate in these summer deals.

So will you make use of these summer deals? Let me hear from you!!
