The Bold Ones

Author : teriann

Jamaica has always had a reputation of having individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.  Too often, though, that spirit is either ignored or beaten down. So I was enthused to read about those businesses that were recognised  by the National Bakery as new champions of manufacturing.  These companies were honoured for their contribution to the Jamaican economy.  It was not a competition but there was a selection process and the added exposure will surely help those businesses continue to excel.

The bold ones are:

  • Adduci (Jamaican cigars)
  • AMG Packaging Paper Company
  • Banyan Creations
  • Country House Products
  • Chocolate Dreams
  • Home Choice
  • The Jerk Place
  • Pastry Passions
  • West Indies Gypsum
  • Yono Industries
  • Spur Tree Spices

Let us continue to support our local entrepreneurs!

THIS ARTICLE IS SO TRUE!. THAT WE IN JAMAICA HAVE A TENDENCY TO LOOK DOWN ON SMALL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURS . AND THAT’S WHY WE ARE WHERE WE ARE NOW BECAUSE WE ONLY SEE NEW IDEAS AS NEGATIVE TO US WHO ARE IN BUSINESS!. SO THIS IS A WELCOMING NEWS. AND HOPE IT CONTINUE!.

    Let’s hope the trend continues!

Hiya, I’m really glad I have found this info. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossips and net and this is actually frustrating. A good site with exciting content, this is what I need. Thank you for keeping this web site, I’ll be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can’t find it.
