Allan McNish vs Ferrari: Ferrari – 2 McNish – 0

Alan McNish is a legend in sports car racing. I do not think his resume has any space left to add his most recent accomplishments. But Mcnish has a dark secret or is it a scarlet secret? I am willing to bet that McNish is awakened at night, sweating profusely, horrified and scared out of his wits, by scenes in a never ending nightmare. The villain in his sleep-depriving nightmare? A red Ferrari, ambling ever so slowly, on the racing line, approaching a high speed corner!

Like victims reliving an assault, McNish must be traumatized each time he hears or sees a Ferrari. In 2011, a Ferrari wrote the end of McNish’s Le Mans exploits and in 2012 another red Ferrari in the middle of its tortoise routine, snatched victory from the Scot. If this was a game of football (soccer) Ferrari would be leading 2 nil, Ferrari -2 McNish – 0.

I wouldn’t want to be caught in a Ferrari next to McNish at a stoplight!
