Formula 1: Lewis Hamilton wins the 2014 World Championship!

False alarm? Tell that to the millions of Lewis Hamilton fans worldwide, who are dreaming, hoping and praying, that when the smoke clears at Yas Marina, after the smoky celebratory burnout/donuts, Lewis Hamilton’s head will wear the World Champion’s crown! We are at the final battle of what has been a season dominated by the juggernaut from Germany and I am certain that every German would love to see their countryman, Rosberg, overhaul the minute deficit, win the race and dependent on where Lewis Hamilton finishes, win the World Championship.

So there you have it – the team which has reshaped the top brass in the F1 paddock, Mercedes AMG Petronas, has both drivers vying for the elusive crown. Hamilton has been there before, so he understands what it means to be World Champion. Rosberg has never sipped from the World Champion’s cup and as such his resolve to be successful might even be greater than Hamilton’s. Do you agree?

What is not in doubt, however, is the fact that a race to the unfurling checkered flag, will coerce the fans at Yas Marina to test the range of their vocal chords with continuous elevated screams and endless rounds of shouting as they urge their chosen World Champion to victory. The weekend has begun and apparently Lewis Hamilton has decided to determine his fate. He has taken the bull by the horns. He wants to lead from the front. He is quickest thus far!
