No more excuses….Just Race!

Author : cmunroe

This is not a difficult task. Stop, inhale – think about the flock of emotions and the convoy packed with adrenalin which invade and trample your sanity, each time you dive into your most delectable treat – watching motor racing at the track!

Words will attempt to capture the inexplicable. They will aim for that which is accepted to be impossible, but they will, like the tireless female CIA operative in Zero Dark Thirty, remain steadfast in their pursuit!

For the time being, allow yourself to be immersed in the zip-line thrill, which the marauding forces also known as rampant excitement, deliver! The thrill that spectating at a motorsports event extracts, is a drug for which we seek no intervention!

But, I have a secret to share. I am generous and I travel with your interest at heart. Spectating is ridiculously rewarding – think of receiving the gift you have always wanted from your special and at times ( rarely) better half. But – do you know what has absolutely no comparison? Do you know what words cannot give an account for? Do you know what relieves stress, tension and all the debilitating conditions which medical journals spend countless pages discussing?

You will find the answer surprising. But like Einstein’s simple formula, it will be groundbreaking, it will be earth shattering but it will also be true and you will go to bed thinking about it and you will fall asleep and have pleasant dreams about the next encounter!

That which words will seek to comprehend but cannot organize a rational statement for its captivating spell, it’s leave all your troubles behind approach and just swim in a series labelled – most exciting moments of my life – will be summarized through a simple directive – Leave the stands, build a race car and get involved at Dover, Vernamfield or Jamwest!

You can thank me later!
