FORMULA 1: WHO WILL SLAY THE GERMAN DRAGON? PART 1

Author : cmunroe

The average individual accepts and abides by the Terms and Conditions governing the beginning of a new year – the new year begins January 1! Motorsports fans, however, might beg to differ. Our typically vibrant and rather entertaining motorsports year usually winds to a grinding halt, in most disciplines, in October. The nuts, bolts and every other component worth their weight in the victory-grabbing  chain, will beg for and if the budget allows, receive attention in what is referred to as the – off season -the preparation for the rapidly approaching race season!

Drag Challenge #1

Our year actually begins in March/April. Yeah!! And the confetti floats! March, 2016 has exceeded our expectations! At the local level, Vernamfield exploded with Drag Challenge #1. The residents are still rejoicing, thankful for the relentless shelling which occurred at ground zero on the 20th! And as drag racing fans were recovering, another cataclysmic event wrestled its way into motor racing folklore – Jouvert at Dover on Easter Monday was the most massive and thoroughly entertaining party in town!

But, before we dive into the local treats, Bernie’s Magic Bus – F1 – dipped into the land down under and a massive pearl was plucked from the F1 oyster! It is a foregone conclusion that Mercedes AMG Petronas and their dynamic duo, Lewis and Nico, are war-ready stalwarts aboard a blindfolded steed that accepts nothing but a fluttering checkered flag!

That script was written, accepted and approved and the blockbuster series appears approximately every two weeks. The script which is trapped in a constant state of uncertainty and mystery and is possibly next on Marvel’s next mega-film list, bears the title – The Game-Changer! Who will slay the German Dragon?
