The drag racing fraternity is a fairly tight knit unit. Everyone knows each other on a first/nickname basis. Say the name Gregg Plummer and the facial expressions may ask, “Who?” Make a U turn and say –“Haggie” and I guarantee you the response will be different.

12 seconds class

A winner in the 12 seconds class on two occasions and a fierce competitor in the 11 seconds class, Haggie’s weapon of choice, is a B20 powered Honda beast, which is motivated by frightening boost levels. Haggie’s blue EG Civic, is a fine example of Mandeville’s commitment to Japan’s pocket rocket –Honda and when directed by Haggie’s right foot, it elicits tumultuous approval from the drag racing fans.

A machine known for its pre-race show – a constantly changing engine note, interrupted by an antilag choir, Haggie knows how to deliver real adrenalin laced entertainment. But, what do you know about Mr. Plummer?

- Best Formula 1 driver of all time : Michael Schumacher.
