MOTOGP : EVEN WHEN HE LOSES, HE WINS!

Author : cmunroe

MotoGP has lost none of its lustre. It was felt that with Lorenzo on a Honda, Marc Marquez would be in for a tumultuous ride. No further comment.

Marc’s most significant threats have emerged from elsewhere and every now and then an unusual suspect emerges. At the most recent edition of MotoGPmania (my term), at an iconic motorsports track – Silverstone – a nerve-racking confrontation unfolded. Marc Marquez and Alex Rins unleashed a reign of deep-seated satisfaction on MotoGP fans.

It was a race which would vie for Race of the Year, if such a category existed!

MARC MARQUEZ UNDER ATTACK!

But wait, there is more. Alex Rins rode a brilliant race and to drop-kick Marquez at the final turn of the final lap was an extraordinary feat. He will be awake, some nights, remembering that pass for some time to come.

Marc Marquez, as I have stated before, is a phenom and more often than not, he will keep that machine on the ragged edge to secure victory. But, Marquez has matured immensely and when you listen his post-race comments and revisit the race highlights (after listening what he said) you will realise that even when he loses, he wins!

THE FOREST – NOT THE TREES!

Do you agree?
