‘Hearty and Healthy’
Author : teriannJamaicans were not always known as being the most health conscious society. However, more people are appreciating the fact that we can prevent many illnesses if we take proper care of ourselves.
The thrust of health education has had far reaching benefits. If everyone adopts good health practices then there will be less need for doctors, not to mention doctor bills! In fact staying healthy is a lot cheaper than trying to get well after being diagnosed with some disease.
So what do you know about staying healthy? Why not visit the Health, Home and Garden Expo that will be staged at the National Arena from October 29-31, 10 am – 9 pm daily. The event promotes a healthy lifestyle. Booths will display a wide variety of information and there will be an entertainment package. Bring the kids to enjoy the children’s village. Stay healthy!
