The news of Osama Bin Laden’s death sent shock waves across the world.
His death has had mixed reactions. Some people are happy while others assert that his death will not bring back to life those killed in the terrorist attacks in New York on September 11, 2001.
Regardless of my personal feelings about the incident, the bigger picture is how will it affect the average Jamaican?
Well, even though their leader has been killed there is a threat that the terrorist groups might retaliate.
It is those fears that have prompted a worldwide alert by the United States.
How are we involved? Any country, including Jamaica, that has American embassies or businesses can become targets.
In times like this, keeping a level head is important as we remain on high alert. The travel industry might see a reduction of traffic as people might choose to stay nearer home.

Bin Laden is an american bogey man. Its a hoax to take away our civil rights n the name of terrorism.

The western countries are as dumb as a bat!
we always do things to others like a bully and believe that they cant do us nothing in return!.. I think we had learn a lesson from 911. we should have taken him alive !.. and put him on trial. but we are acting like them. now they can say they are on the winning side!..
They are not contemplating if they will do what they will do.
Its our lives are affected , because we are the ones who have to live every day with all these so-call security measure!..

Some people might say its the terrorist started it!.. but before they resort to such nonsense. unless if they look at what the US is and was doing to people in other country. then we must realize that this was started by the western countries because of greed to control the natural resources of other countries!..
Dont forget that Osama Bin Laden was a CIA operative!.

I’m really glad that Osama is dead, but I believe that the government should show the photos. What does he have to hide ?
Big number of ppl just trust that bin laden is doesnt live anymore but i am not convinced… or what do you think?
