Restaurant Week Memories

Author : teriann

Well folks, Restaurant Week is over and what a delectable treat it has been!

I must admit I did not get to visit as many places as I wanted but I must make special mention of Sonia’s Home style Restaurant at 17 Central Avenue in Kingston.

The service was excellent and it was pleasure to sip on rum and cranberry juice and nibble on salt-fish fritters with special dip while you waited on the main course.

I chose the garlic shrimp served with rice and steamed vegetables which were seasoned to perfection.

The desert was not to be overlooked as they had something for everyone including potato pudding and chocolate mocha.

A lot of restaurants enjoyed an influx of new clients during the promotion and certainly opened the eyes of consumers about the variety of food available.

So where did you go?  What were your experiences during Restaurant Week?  Let me hear from you!
