Rally Jamaica is a celebration. It is a ceremony. It is a religion. It is a lifestyle. It represents a people. Rally Jamaica appropriately titled, because it defines a sport within a nation which for years, maintained a dominant spot on the motorsports schedule. This year is special for reasons which will be hurled to the fore in the posts which will follow.

The provisional list of competitors I have seen has several characters who are equipped with an innate ability to distort gravel and rearrange tarmac in an aggressive but purposeful manner, one which will generate an overwhelming appreciation from the thousands who will hit the stages. Rubber will destroy gravel – Rally Jamaica, December 2-4, 2011!
