Formula 1: Ferrari launches their 2012 machine.

The 2012 F1 season is a month away. Round 1 will scream like excited natives, in Australia, between the 16th and the 18th of March. The teams are currently in launch and testing mode, in preparation for the endless series of 18,000 rpm marathons which lie ahead.

I was not as keen an observer of the 2011 season as I had intended, but, I submit, that my resolve has been fortified and my F1 spirit will remain steadfast throughout the season.

We (Jamaicans) have a saying – ‘when man a plan, God a wipe out’. Fortunately for F1 giants Scuderia Ferrari, God remains lenient. Ferrari made plans, but thanks to a less threatening event- a ‘white out’ (snow) – the launch of their championship hopes got an icy reception from the elements. Excellent managers always carry a contingency plan though, so Ferrari executed their B plan and took their launch to the www.

The machine, the F2012, was presented to the F1 community on Friday, via the internet. If           beauty guarantees success, it is my view, that Maranello might be on to something. What is your view? (click each link below)
