We are fully aware that quite a few iconic machines are built in the land of ‘Tokyo Drift’ and bearing in mind that the majority of the machines which rev on our streets were born there, we may see, from time to time, more than a few pristine examples of Japanese engineering.
When asked which motorsports discipline one prefers – drag, drift or circuit, the answer may become lost in the time spent scratching your head as you try to decipher the digital code from which a rational selection may be made. Complications are introduced, however, when at one location, 3 weapons of asphalt destruction are spotted. I will show you what I saw at King Midas Mufflers recently.
This is the ‘petrol-head’ test:
1. Identify the 3 machines shown (2 on the ramp and 1 on the lift)?
2. If you are allowed to select one of the 3 machines, which one would you select and which discipline would you use it to compete in?
