Audi – What is all the fuss about?

The Americans have a saying – Win on Sunday and sell on Monday! For the astute car salesman or company, it makes perfect sense that success generates interest. People will always want to identify with whats good,whats trendy, whats popular, what says class, what says upward mobility and I could go on.

Motorsports is the test-bed the proving ground for any manufacturer worth his metal. Once you have gained access, the success of your business model may jolly well be dependent on where you finish after the checkered flag has unfurled.

I was heading west along Oxford Rd one of those days when I spotted a rare gem in the parking lot of ATL’s most recent Car Temple. It was a pristine ‘old school’ Audi. I took a few pics, but it brought me back to a machine I would watch shredding everything in its path in a symphonic melody, laden with wails of mechanized harmony!

The Audi you see today possibly owes some of its assets to the exploits of this machine. Audi – What is the fuss about? Watch this machine in action and you might begin to understand!
