Circuit Racing: The heroes race at Dover on Monday!

There are times when the monotony of daily routine existence occupies our every moment, but there are also moments when excitement, intrigue and nervous anticipation enter the mix and then it begins to all make sense. October is a weird month for motorsports fans. It usually has several pleasurable events, but it also welcomes the end of the motorsports year for some disciplines and that is ‘tuff’ part!

But hey, we are optimists here, so we see only the bright side! The NDRC crew staged a magnificent event last weekend at Vernamfield and this weekend belongs to the JRDC at Dover. Time will not allow an extensive discourse at present, because as I type, we are actually preparing to depart for the hills of St. Ann!

I will tell you this though – all the questions which dominated discussions for 2013 re-Doug Gore, David Summerbell, Kyle Gregg, Alan Chen and others will be dealt with and hammered mercilessly by determined drivers, who are fully aware that much more than pride is at stake when their machines roll to their grid spots. The action will be fast, it will be fierce, it will be exciting and it will be memorable! So why would you want to miss it?

Take my advice, I am rarely far from the mark. On Heroes Day the only place you should be is Dover Raceway! And another thing,if all goes well, look for a scintillating display from this driver and machine -
