I love motorsports and there are occasions when, in short form, I am trapped, lost even, in the enthralling orchestra known as a high-strung motor. I have learnt over time to ignore the status quo and embrace that which is unique if it meets my elevated requirements for motorized satisfaction. I must confess, however, that I have not always been a V8 fan, but I adore the V8 battalion from Australia. NASCAR has not found a permanent spot on my wall of fame, but when the series visits a road-course, the exception is made - it is a must-see event!
I embrace all forms of motorsport and I am still singing songs of satisfaction based on the resurgence of American-muscle. In this piece, we will hear American machines wailing louder than Bob Marley’s outfit, but, with a reminder that what appears innocuous at a glance, might actually be a Lingenfelter ‘shock and awe’, genetically-modified mutant!
And to add to your viewing pleasure, I have chosen Driftworks, aided and abetted by a European demon from the depths of the bowels of Porsche. I was surfing!
Which form of motorsports would you compete in? Which machine would you build?
