Nestle Supligen – Drag Challenge #5: Test the machine this Sunday!

Author : cmunroe

The NDRC is busy lecturing. The lesson being taught – How to effectively manage a motor-racing series! If you are willing to learn, the template is available. I will be the first to admit that I have neglected, just a bit, my drag racing duties. My explanation is both plausible and rational, but I apologise to the readers of these pages. I have been called by several individuals, all with raised eyebrows and faces bearing question marks (do not ask how I arrived at my assessment over the phone) and as such efforts will be redoubled to avoid a recurrence.

Thankfully, the resourceful NDRC has not adopted my tardy ways and their admirable, managerial machine continues to display the elevated degree of efficiency we have come to expect and accept from the drag racing phenom – the NDRC! Big Up! Up like 7!

NDRC

In recognizing the significance of the festive season in our Jamaican cultural identity, the NDRC is rather accomodating. A year-ending final hoorah will attack the drag-strip on the 13th of December. But, before we approach that finish-line, competitors will have the opportunity – to cleanse those exhaust pipes, wake up those intake manifolds and blaze some fire in those combustion chambers! The machines will be subjected to the starter’s orders on Sunday, December 6th at the tested and sanctified home of drag racing, this side of Jamaica, Vernamfield Motorsports Park.

We are as concerned about your machine’s state of tune as you are. And we expect the machine to deliver of its best, but, we are also fully aware that what is drawn on paper has a tendency of deviating from the rules established by the pencil. As such, the true and only test involves rubber mating with concrete in the uncanny relationship which is designed to distort the dynamics between distance and time!

Essentially, all drag-strip worthy machines can exit their hibernation-palace because they are being summoned by the NDRC to warm-up for Judgement Day – December 13th! And guess what? In the true Christmas spirit, like ‘ballers’ at an exotic dancers event, cash will rain from above! Class winners will receive a Christmas bonus! Managers of other racing series – watch, listen, attend, ask your members to participate if necessary, but, if you do nothing else, do this – learn!

Nestle Supligen Drag Racing Series – Drag Challenge#5 – Test and Tune – Sunday December 6th. The main event, which will be jam-packed with Nestle Supligen – BOOSTS YOU UP goodies – Sunday December 13th!
