FORMULA 1: WINNING WILL NOT BE ENOUGH FOR HAMILTON! PART 1

Author : cmunroe

If you are passionate about F1 and consider yourself an aficionado, you should be beside yourself, reeling from pulsating stimulation! Eighteen fantastic races have sped by at light speed and the reigning World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, is pinned against unsympathetic ropes and he is three solid punches from being pummeled into dethroning submission! Or is he?

The season, thus far has had its share of elevation changes. Joyous ascension has been on display illustrated by effervescent champagne showers when the World Champion, a social media mogul, rests on the top step of the podium. He has 7 wins to his credit thus far. His loyalists who bray conspiracy consistently would want us to ignore that fact. Truth be told though, Hamilton has had a string of unfortunate occurrences, which some of my beloved rural Jamaicans would lay squarely at the feet of dark, ill-intent forces!

It would be senseless of me, however, to accept such an explanation. We, if honestly is at the fore, are fully aware of the callous nature of motorsports. Le Mans, the 2016 edition, is still a samurai sword wedged deep into Toyota’s soul. Porsche gained from Toyota’s cardiac arrest!

MERCEDES AMG

The Mercedes AMG Petronas garage is comprised of two drivers who are on a quest for the same goal, which only one can have. Lewis Hamilton has in his corner, an enviable feat – three titles. Rosberg is yet to immerse himself in the halls of a World Champion. And he, at this stage in his still emerging career, has his best opportunity yet.

But, can he deliver when it matters most? His track record when he is flung into a pressure cooker might be encouraging for Hamilton fans. Which Rosberg will emerge for the remaining rounds? What will Mexico reveal?
