Tis the season to be jolly and jolly we will be. We, despite the burdens we carry, have a lot to be grateful for. We wish you and yours all the best during this the festive season.
We inhale and exhale motorsports and now that all disciplines have decided who is worthy of occupying the throne in the respective classes it is our duty to determine which machine should be awarded the coveted title – Race-car of the Year.
I will admit that motorsports in Jamaica is cloaked in a persistent recession. If you are a petrolhead, you simply cannot be happy with the current state of affairs!
Were you at Rally Jamaica 2016? Were you satisfied with that which was provided?
Did you make the trek to Dover Raceway to swim in the circuit racing pool? Were you a happy fan as the machines plummeted towards corner 1?
While some disciplines faltered, one continued to soar! The NDRC continues to lead and teach but apparently pride precludes others from observing and learning. Or is it that the ‘tuff-head’ syndrome is rearing its difficult head?
You can guess but while you deliberate think about this – Which machine is the race-car of the year?
