DRAG RACING:MACHINES PREPARING TO SHELL VERNAMFIELD THIS SUNDAY!

It is evident that on the international scene the status quo-boat is poised to capsize! In Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton held no anvil at Round 1. Instead of the waltz to victory that was anticipated, he was forced to sip from a glass filled with humility. Vettel had all of the champagne!

MotoGP shares a similar story. Defending and multiple World Champion Marc Marquez was not a significant factor as the race came to a close. He was bullied into the shadows by, arguably, the new star on the MotoGP scene.

NDRC – FULL THROTTLE

On the local scene, drag racing will bat his Sunday, followed by circuit racing at Dover Raceway on Easter Monday. On Sunday, April 2nd, Round 1 of the NDRC’s Full Throttle Series, in association with AMSOIL, will land at Vernamfield. Right foot will engage ‘gas’ and the pedal will be required to do more than hit the metal, courtesy of undue force!

Will the emerging trend continue? Will the ‘big drivers’ live up to expectations or will they drink defeat’s insipid brew.

Drag racers are in an advanced state of readiness for this weekend’s event and if NDRC’s lofty standards are maintained, a suspenseful, thrilling and joyous occasion will unfold.

Will you be there?
