CIRCUIT RACING : AN INVALUABLE LESSON -THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS!
Author : cmunroeA 24 hour race is never normally viewed as a nail-biting affair. Recent history, however, has reorganized our cognitive processes as a result of what we have witnessed.
These modern gladiators – the teams and their machines – do not engage in the pace-yourself-philosophy, to grab victory. Hell no! Their mantra is identical to that which is advanced by Pinks All Out!
The magnificent 24 hour race is now a Sprint All Out affair, from the green flutters until the checkered flag kisses the delightful French breeze! We have seen it before and 2017 exhibited no difference.
But, an invaluable lesson, which was taught last year, resurfaced. And if it was not learnt then, I am certain it will form the substance of myriad discussions moving forward.
The lesson?
