F1 : LEWIS HAMILTON DENIED BUT…

When you die, will your funeral cost 90 million dollars? Tough not being the King of Thailand! This season – 2017 – will not sit well with Ferrari in future discussions. Ferrari has been chasing Mercedes GP for some time now and 2017 positioned itself as the year that the assault to usurp power would yield success’ delicious fruits.

The season began well, but at rather crucial moments, Vettel and Ferrari plummeted like a ten ton brick in a pond! Hamilton, once a victim of rounds of bad luck in the Rosberg era, was now aboard a faultless machine which was willing to accept the most salient P – P1!

USAIN BOLT

So, at the US GP, Hamilton had the first real opportunity to wrap his arms around the drivers’ trophy. Celebrities and stars from all avenues of life came out to witness the spectacle which is F1. Usain ‘The Legend’ Bolt was in the building and appropriately so – speed was on display.

Lewis Hamilton relishes a battle and in Vettel he found a worthy adversary. Vettel knew what was at stake and after Usain waved the green and the red faded, Vettel revved into action. Vettel led into corner 1 and held the advantage for a few laps. Hamilton was also aware of the implications of the US GP and he remained forthright in his pursuit. He slid past Vettel after a handful of laps.

The US GP was never devoid of bustling action and Verstappen, again, displayed the attributes of the masterful driver he has become in such a short period of time – a world champion in the making?

Despite brief moments of uncertainty, Hamilton’s mission did not deviate from victory’s path and Ferrari was left to hustle P2 for Vettel. The result denied Hamilton from singing all the way to the bank, but with his advantage extended as the Mexican affair draws near, Hamilton’s 4th drivers’ title might just be days away.

The Mexican GP is next. Any predictions?
