NATURALLY ASPIRATED MACHINES MAKING NITROUS OBSOLETE?

Author : cmunroe

Years ago it was felt that a naturally aspirated (n/a) motor could achieve so much and no more. If you were a dedicated drag racer who led a life “A quarter mile at a time” – lol – chances are you quickly arrived at your wits end, circumnavigating the globe, repeatedly, in your quest to wrestle more speed and performance out of your noble n/a steed.

Ultimately, possibly inspired by a sequence of less than honorable defeats and the constant nagging of loyal friends, you were eventually convinced to grab from a bag labelled Easy and Readily Available Options. What did you grab? BOOST? NOS? Oh, both?

But that was then. That was so then. Technology and advances in several departments have resulted in a narrowing of the gap, And in instances which I have been fortunate enough to witness, well-honed projectiles, posing as n/a machines, have accomplished what was previously unheard of, arguably impossible – slaughter a boost or nitrous-fed machine in rip along the 1320!

How is this even possible? News – like Honda’s iconic EK9, brandishing an assassin’s coveted weapon  – travels fast! Listen to 4Piston Racing.

DO YOU NEED A 500 HP N/A SNIPER?

The game has changed. N/A when interpreted accurately is actually NASTY ATTITUDE!

N/A AT PLAY!

Not to be outdone, ‘the Rock’ was not going to sit idly by and allow our North American neighbours to selfishly frolic in the n/a brothel. Thankfully, the M.A.D. boss and Ken-T Racing have revealed the utter carnage which may be rendered by an unhinged n/a platform. I contacted Mr. Timoll aka Ken – T . You will want to hear (read) what he had to say!
