People who still have hope in man solving the problems that afflict planet earth, cling to a dream and a place most commonly referred to as utopia. This place is an imagined perfect place – peace on earth, harmony among men, mornings of pleasure and evenings of unrestrained happiness.

Formula 1 fans are in an exclusive club. They do not have to wait on man to resolve their irreconcilable differences. F1 fans are living in their perfect place as we speak. The 2010 season has been more thrilling than a Sidney Sheldon novel and more gripping than the Bourne Trilogy.

With six rounds remaining, Bernie’s bus will be stopping at Monza this weekend. Lewis Hamilton (Vodafone McLaren Mercedes) with 182 points, leads the championship by the slimmest of margins -3 points and four venomous cobras –Webber (179pts), Vettel (151pts), Button (147pts) and Alonso (141pts) lurk beneath the grass slithering before they bite.

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing’s RB6 chassis has been the class of the field thus far, but a string of blunders is to be blamed for valuable points exiting the Renault’s exhaust pipes. Their erratic race day delivery has fired up the combustion chambers of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Lewis has shown at Spa that all he needs is a glimpse of the top spot and he will grab it before the offer is made.

This weekend, Ferrari will be in their homeland, being guided by the spirit of founder Enzo Ferrari and bolstered by the Tifosi, at a legendary track, Monza. Alonso and Massa will be crowned kings if the horse is allowed to prance on the podium!

Vettel has to disembark from his mistake laden flight. He will want to prove to his team and supporters that he can withstand and conquer the pressure attached to a championship fight. He has not been doing a good job thus far.

One thing is certain – the championship race is wide open. Who will win at Monza? On Sunday, the Autodromo di Monza will not only be a sea of red, colored by the flag bearing Tifosi, it will also be the site of another spell binding chapter of the 2010 F1 season.
