How to be Extravagant on a Shoe String Budget!

Author : teriann

Okay, I am sure I am not the only one who practically drooled at the tickets for a concert or trip, then checked my budget and realized they were not on the cards.
A trip to the hairdresser, buying the latest product or jewelry might also be put off if you are trying to save money during these difficult financial times.

So are you doomed to never enjoy the finer things in life because of your limited budget?

No there is hope on the horizon. We shouldn’t have to sacrifice the extravagance because of low funds. I have found the solution to my budget woes and I am quite happy to share it with you.
If you follow my simple tips you too can enjoy life and still meet all your financial obligations.

Get connected. There are giveaway contests all the time on the Internet. Just recently Courts gave away two tickets to the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival to their lucky followers on Twitter.

Support students.
Need a new hair style but have low funds? Heart Trust trainees are willing to offer their services at a reduced cost or find high school students studying Cosmetology at a local technical high school who want the practice.

Ask for samples.
You never know which company will offer you a sample of their latest product so ask them all! This does not only apply for food as many major companies do offer samples of new products so check their websites.

Mix and match low cost cosmetic jewelry for a unique and stylish look.
I get the most compliments when I pair craft items (that I got made into jewelry) with more expensive outfits.

Check out free concerts or arrive early for early bird discounts.
How are you extravagant on your budget? Let me hear from you!
