Impulse Buying-The art of saying no!

Even with the best of intentions, it is hard to resist the pull of a well packaged product.  I am still trying to figure out how to restrain myself from buying things I really don’t need which sabotage my budget.  My weakness is jewelry.  Whenever I see an interesting piece of jewelry,  I hear a little voice whispering, “buy me.”  I try to avoid even looking at the item or it will break my resolve not to buy.  How do you deal with impulse buying?
