Despite a single day designated for qualifying and racing (Sunday the 29th), circuit racers, as I expected, were at the track on Saturday fine-tuning their machines for rigorous duty on Sunday.
Natasha ‘Chiney Dolly’ Chang was in the building. When asked at the launch of her race car, what time she was aiming for, ‘Chiney Dolly’ without a blink’s delay responded “1:29s”. On Saturday, on her first time out revving the new machine, she told me she clocked 1:28s!

JRDC President, Marck Carey, had a challenging day. The minor issues were resolved and the machine eventually took to the track. While on track, a rock- related accident (a crew member told me Marck ran over a rock), sidelined the machine.
