Heelz and Wheelz Car Show – Part 1

Author : cmunroe

For reasons I do not attempt to comprehend, I am not a huge fan of car shows. Possibly the speed junkie hidden within, has a problem with watching cars sit motionless for the duration of the time- frame of the event. A car show, for me, reminds me of a fashion show – it is a show me what you got episode and a massaging of the designer’s/owner’s ego – a pat on the back to complement him for what he has achieved with his machine.

But, this time, because of the interest expressed by my mechanic and friend, Marvin, I decided to pass through. I contacted the promoter, Lee Sing, who was more than willing to assist with the requisite passes, so we were in business!

When we arrived at the National Stadium in the afternoon, the crowd at the gate, the machines in the line awaiting entry and the sounds we heard emanating from the venue (Stadium car park) all told an exciting tale. When we got in we were not disappointed -

Clean machine.

Honda to the flipping world!

!

Mazda is definitely trying to regain its clout! Do you think she is the driver?

Nismo – we all know the potential. We need to see more of these machines!

Who said three is a crowd? Three awesome machines!

I want the red one!

Staying with the red theme. A mini monster from the Honda family.

Call me all the names you can find in the book, but, I was beside myself with joy when I saw these three lovely ladies! The fellow in the foreground (blue shirt ) was in shock. He did not know what to do with himself! He followed them wherever they went!

They were not wearing heels and they had no wheels, but their assets compensated for everything they did not have!
