Circuit Racing: Jamwest is the place to be this weekend!

If you were hidden in a cave somewhere in Alaska and got deported to the land the Spaniards said had wood and water in abundance, chances are you are not aware that, this weekend, things will not be the same in Westmoreland.

In the parish that Rastafarians hold dear to their hearts ( I will not tell you why), circuit racers will be kept busy, fine-tuning their heel and toe routine and checking for any unplanned leaks that might attack their unsuspecting machine when high rpm duties beckon!

The event is dubbed – Circuit Attack – and it will be held at Jamwest Speedway in Westmoreland this weekend. Yes, Jamwest is known for its drag racing roots, but this is such an exciting moment in our motorsports history. A ‘brand new’ race track now exists at the facility and for those who have had the opportunity to drive the track at speed, the response has been nothing but positive. So, on a tiny dot on the World Map (Jamaica), we now have two circuit racing tracks! We are special after all!

The icing on the cake is this though – the Dover machines and some of Dover’s top drivers will be in the building, revving ‘bad-mind’ out of their, restless, eager, scalp-claiming machines. And rumor has it, that the big bad wolf – the Unbeatable fellow and his crew will be camping at the track as they commence the ground work for yet another attack on the throne!

Stay tuned – more is yet to come. But, for all of this week you will be annoyed until you submit to your inner desire to be present at the event. Yes Dean and ‘new prezi’ Teach, I am helping the effort!

Make a note to self – (in a hypnotic voice) -  I must be at Jamwest on March 3rd!
