Formula 1 machines are at present being undressed, revealing to an anxiously waiting public, the technical and speed-driven treats that will be on offer in 2017. So, even if your eyes are in their naked state, you can still see the monsters in parade-format before they hit the circuits in real competition mode.
World Champion Nico Rosberg will make no defence of the title gained. He is possibly chilling at a luxurious resort and wants nothing to do with F1. Thankfully the remaining performers in the F1 circus are thirsty for glory and parched throats treasure the sensations triggered by Moet champagne so we can expect thrilling encounters. We wait.
Who will wrestle with Lewis Hamilton this year? Can Bottas deliver? Will he play the role of a silent letter and mirror Massa from the Schumacher-Massa era? We wait.
Circuit racing in Jamaica in 2017 is still a secret. We wait.
JAMWEST
The drag racing boys know no leisure time. Jamwest hosted Drag Fury on Sunday and that story will be told. In a previous blog, Curtis Watson’s R35 GTR grabbed the spotlight. If you were not informed, the machine stamped its name on the 7 seconds map! Curtis’ machine is the quickest GTR that is owned by a Jamaican!
I searched for the 7 seconds pass and finally, thanks to the good folks at Vibrant Performance TV we now have the opportunity to see the machine in launch-mode and also in full flight. It is a brief clip – a 7 seconds run will be brief – lol! The production is tastefully done and if you are a GTR fan prepare for sporadic orgasms!
The machine is introduced as AMS Alpha X 7.65 @ 187 mph.
