FORMULA 1 : UNDER EVERY FINN THERE IS A SHARK!

I would really enjoy being reigning World Champion, Nico Rosberg’s friend! Can you imagine the guffaw he must be exhibiting each time he sits and watches a race like that which unfolded in Russia on Sunday?

There is no doubt that Rosberg and Hamilton, despite being cordial in the early stages of their relationship at Mercedes, were immersed in an atrociously bitter relationship which would rival the temperature realized by any ‘manish water’ (soup) at full boil! So, to witness Hamilton being subjected to numerous slices of humble cake thus far must be a treat for Rosberg.

Hamilton’s dismay began rather early during the race weekend and qualifying confirmed what the pundits have been saying all along – Ferrari has the goods to fight in 2017!

A Ferrari 1-2 was only a dream a year ago. But reality is sweet and the paddock must have had a sleepless night, anticipating race-day.

BOTTAS

Motor racing is unpredictable and the prancing horse that Vettel rode on before taking his position at P1 on the grid, was unnerved by a Flying Finn. Bottas fired a shot at the disappearance of the lights and sped past a stunned Vettel.

The bullet proved to be fatal. Bottas led. His nerve held. And even though Ferrari tried and executed strategy alterations to thwart Bottas’ momentum, nothing could slay Bottas’ rant to victory. The cool and quiet Bottas, amidst his team’s raucous celebration, commented that he waited rather long for his first F1 win!

Lewis Hamilton in 2017 will have an excessively bumpy ride – yes Rosberg is still laughing! As the saying goes – under every Finn there is a shark!

Is Bottas a genuine title contender?
