At the end of the previous blog, the question was asked – Will Roland Crawford redeem himself?
Ladies, if you read these pages and gentlemen who are ardent disciples of the drag racing faith, Roland Crawford is an enigma of sorts. His machines are usually anything but anemic – he does not do low horsepower. If the machine is not in confrontation with 500 – 1000 hp it is simply not a Roland Crawford machine. His current drag racing machine boasts 900+ horses running wild and free!
And for that reason, when his machines fail to live up to scrutiny and the reservoir of expectation waved by fans of the unforgiving sport, Roland Crawford is subjected to more ridicule than a ‘bald head’ at a rastafarian conference!
SLICK INDIAN
‘Slick Indian’ delivered an unwarranted and embarrassing battering on the Genesis and that possibly sealed the coffin. Roland decided enough was enough. Roland, by his own admission, went back to basics. The Ts were crossed and the Is received their dots.
The Genesis rolled into Jamwest on Saturday, Jan 26th and without much delay, Roland silenced his critics. The machine – off the trailer – cruised to an 11 seconds pass and returned with an impressive, effortless 10 seconds pass!
Roland has redeemed himself, shattering the barriers of doubt that restrained him in the past. Now that he has ripped the 10 seconds pass – what will Roland deliver next – 9ZZZZZZ?
Congratulations Mr Crawford! Machine!
