Devon House Lawns – A Shopper’s Paradise

Author : teriann

Devon House, located on Waterloo Road in Kingston is famous for its delicious brand of ice cream and at any given moment its lawns are teeming with activity. People come to this oasis in the town from all walks of life.

They can often be seen just walking around and visiting the many shops scattered around the property or just enjoying the atmosphere of the majestic grounds. In fact, over the last few years, Devon House as become synonymous with having a great time with friends and family.

However, the coming weeks will see Devon House transformed into a shopper’s paradise. Three events have been scheduled at Devon House for November 25, 2012, December 16, 2012 and December 23, 2012. These days have been earmarked to be the days when consumers will descend on Devon House in droves to enjoy various items that will be on sale.

There will be stalls filled with a wide variety of products ranging from jewelry, clothing, toys, art and craft as well as items for the home. Vendors will be coming from all over the island including Negril and Montego Bay to showcase their unique items.

I have attended past events at this venue and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I found that vendors were usually willing to barter and this resulted in many satisfied consumers. In previous years they had also made arrangements for those consumers who were making purchases to use their credit or debit cards.

If you are searching for that unique gift for persons on your list why not check out ‘Market on the Lawns’ at Devon House? I know that I will certainly see what they have to offer this year!

Do you think it should remain seasonal or should they extend the experience? I hope they extend it in the future but in the meantime let’s enjoy our shopping paradise!
